India and Bangladesh
India currently has "beef-less" McDonalds', because it is against the Hindu religion to eat cows. Many prosperous McDonald's locations remain in India. Bangladesh, however, no longer has a McDonald's due to a "lack of quality control." Regardless of this, "McDonaldization is already catering to the rising demand." -Food, Culture, & Society
